10x Canon Pixma MP640 Compatible Printer Ink Cartridges - Cyan / Magenta / Yellow / Black - Multipack - Fully Chipped and Ready for Use
I bought the Canon Pixma MP640 together with the pack of 10 compatible ink cartridges from More Inks a few months ago. The printer is great and the cartridges are great value for money. I have however had no end of hassle using the cartridges. Virtually every time I send a document to the printer I get an error message saying the printer can not recognize 1 or more cartridges. This is immensely frustrating (believe me it has been really awful) as I have to open up the printer, pull out the offending cartridge(s), give them a good shake and re-insert them. And I often have to repeat this process several times for each print cycle!!! The printer does not give you the option to override the error and proceed with print jobs anyway, which is a real shame.
Unfortunately More Inks have been unable to explain why this happens. Perhaps I was sent a set of cartridges with faulty chips. nevertheless it has got me thinking about the utility of cheap "compatible" cartridges.

These are not Canon badged and the price reflects that. The ink quality suits the general printing needs we have - which excludes printing photo's. I'd like for the cartridges to last longer, but that's more directed at the printer rather than the cartridge. Note, these cartridges have a 6 month shelf life - so don't stock up with bulk buys!

Been using the inks for some weeks now and I can notice no difference in quality fom the original cannon inks. Get them, amazing deal.

Leaky cartridges
I have used this produce before and in general I am quite happy. However, the last batch was faulty in that some of the cartridges leaked when being installed.
