Picolitre size

The size of the ink droplets can vary, and it is this that you quite often see quoted in printer specifications as a Pico litre rating (pl). The Smaller the nozzle jet, the tinier the ink drop, so the more detailed the print image will be.

Ink tanks/Cartridges

Integrated print head and ink tank Canon’s one-click installation FINE Cartridges could not be more simple to replace. By combining both print head and ink tank, they also allow extremely compact designs so your PIXMA has a stylish and slim line shape. And because the print head is replaced with the ink, superb photo quality with fast print speeds are assured.

Auto Image Fix

Not every photo is perfect; that’s why Canon introduces Auto Image Fix.  It automatically analyses your photo, and then enhances skin tones, colour contrasts and saturations.  Simply scan, and edit them with the easy-to-use software.  Then reprint them to share with family and friends.

Colour Copy

A4 document colour copy speed. The advanced copy technology gives faithful colour reproduction on plain papers as well. Deliver high speed copy with beautiful photos and texts.

Scan

Scanner Optical Resolution: The CCD or CIS systems of flat-bed scanning are used in all-in-one models. Achieved maximum resolution of 600 (horizontal) x 1200 (vertical) dpi. 600dpi resolution delivers good colour scans. Scan straight to PC, email or PDF. MP Navigator EX software makes every stage of operation easier, from image search to PDF document editing. Scan your existing photo prints and re-print them to share the duplicates with family and friends, or scan faded photos and bring them back to life with the easy-to-use software.

ChromaLife 100+

ChromaLife100+ is a system that improves the beauty and permanence of printed images, realised with the combination of selected Canon inks and papers. A combination of Canon’s FINE print head, New Dye-Based Inks and New Genuine Photo Paper provides more vibrant, beautiful and longer-lasting photos.

In 3 easy steps you select images, choose paper type & size and finally select how you want your photo’s printed on the page! Furthermore use your images to create and print photo albums, calendars, albums and calendars. The possibilities are endless. Easy-PhotoPrint EX is supplied with all PIXMAs.

MP Navigator EX
MP Navigator helps users achieve more with their PIXMA All-in-One. It offers users greater control and creativity or simple one-click operation for quick tasks like scanning to PDF. The user interface provides a simple yet intuitive interface to access a wide range of creative functions & capabilities. Recent upgrade of software now includes a comprehensive photo/document search function, easier-to-operate PDF function & automatic, high-quality image correction.
