Just not up to anything other than a very very small workload.
Very well made machine compared to most plasticky things out there (ben then for £325 it should have been), but not capable of handling anything but a very small workload over time.
The tiny paper tray under what is a massive printer should have been a warning.
Easy to set up, easy to use and good quality printing, but even a modest print run will make the machine quake.
If you eed to print several copies of a report or print constantly, get something else.
If you work near other people, it is so noisy you'll be told to get something else. It even makes noises when it isnt doing anything.
The noises get louder over the months until the fatal last groans.
Error message 5C20 comes up, wont even let you look at other status.
As past 1 year warranty, told to take it to an independent dealer - purge unit and internal errors too expensive to repair.
So unsustainable - otherwise looks brand new! I am now sitting on over £200 of unusuable ink (oh yes, you cant buy the ink in shops, so if you run out in the middle of something, you have to wait several days to finish.
Also, the most expensive ink is "clear ink" the king and his clothes comes to mind.
Shame canon, i'm a big fan otherwise.
