Despite the similarity of numbering and packaging, the CLI-8PM, CLI-8PC, CLI-8PY etc products are NOT interchangeable with CLI-8M, CLI-8C, CL-8Y etc (which are the ones you may need for older printers such as iP4300). I have put this comment in under 5 star rating just in case you have not looked at all the 1 star comments where people have bought the wrong item. My apologies if this is annoying for some, but I hope for others it saves a lot of aggaravation. Other than this, I am a great fan of my Canon printer and it's inks. Also note that Amazon reviews frequently appear under products for which they were not written and can comment on marketplace suppliers other than the one being proposed for the particular product above the review. Amazon is a convenient and cheap service in general, but you really do need to read the small print in the product names and supplier 'partner' headings!

Bought this for my Canon iP5200 Pixma printer, which takes cartridges No 8 and No 5. Beware that this cartridge, although marked "8" is actually a PM photo cartridge which only fits iP6600D and 6700D printers, so I have opened and wasted an ink cartridge because of the ridiculous way Canon name their products.

Not used it yet but am sure it will be fine. I think I made a mistake when ordering this time & got an 8PM instead of my usual 8M, which would explain why it cost a bit more than quoted. Not sure how promptly this arrived. I experienced a surprising & unusual delay on a recent ink order but can't remember if it was this one or another made at the same time.

Canon Ink
Does what it says on the tin, never had any problems with original Canon ink... quite expensive though. There is a price to pay for original inks.

Not much to say! I don't buy 'compatible' ink for an expensive printer even tho this beast (Pixma Pro 9000)
