Beneath the lustrous metallic coat lies 2.2 Megapixel power in waiting: both superb quality digital video and a fully featured digital still camera, with an abundant array of advanced features normally reserved for single-purpose devices.

Clear vision
2.2 Megapixel resolution guarantees unsurpassed video clarity and also lays the foundation for photos printable up to 15 x 21cm at superb photo quality.

True & Natural
The MVX35i produces what our engineers call emotional colours - bluer skies, greener grass and attractive, healthy skin tones. As a starting point, an RGB primary colour filter does away with image-degrading signal-conversion for truer, more natural colours. To perform the complex algorithms necessary to then record these, all key processing and memory requirements are combined onto a purpose-built DIGIC DV chip. During simultaneous video/still capture, video and stills processing follow two discrete paths.

Optics
60 years of Canon precision optics heritage are built into the superbly specified 10x optical (200x combined) zoom lens. Remarkable f1.8/2.5 performance means you capture maximum available light, assuring crisp, clear and clean images from one frame corner to the other even in low light conditions.

Direct print
A Print/Share button delivers what it promises: immediate, PC-free direct printing to any PictBridge compatible or Canon photo printer, or effortless file transfers to your computer.

Light up
A powerful mini-video light let you shoot full colour even in zero light conditions, while the Ring Light adaptor eliminates harsh shadows when shooting close up.

MPEG4
Easily share clips across the internet after shooting MPEG4 files direct to SD or MMC memory cards. Depending on memory card capacity, up to 60 minutes of QVGA or QQVGA formats can be recorded straight to card or copied to card from DV tape.

Get connected
A USB 2.0 HS connector allows transfer of DV footage for real time streaming, fast dubbing, editing and retouching, direct printing and easy high-speed file transfer of still images and video files from the camcorder's memory card.
