First of all, the printer is very good. It installed perfectly onto my windows pc and also a Mac laptop. However my iPad 2 couldn't find the printer. Very frustrating, as the canon app worked perfectly on the ipad for photos and scanning but I couldn't print anything else. Canon technical support were hopeless - they told me the printer wasn't AirPrint enabled, when it definitely is. Apple support worked hard but to no avail. The answer lies in the firmware, and a big thanks to the chap who provided the first review for pointing me in the right direction. The situation is not helped by the firmware update being mislabeled as version 1 on the Canon website.The process is simple and solved my problem, but what a waste of time and energy. Despite the hassle I'm pleased with the printer so far....One star less for the aggro.
