With Auto Photo Fix II and Auto Document Fix you have complete control over the quality of your scanned files. Auto Photo Fix II ‘recognises’ the type of scene in a photo to ensure the brightness and colour is at its best. It resolves common faults like washed-out faces and dull skin tones, and will even adjust those over-saturated snaps from snowy days in December. Similarly, Auto Document Fix delivers beautiful and easy-to-view scan results by ensuring accurate separation between text and images, as well as text character emphasis, background removal, dot smoothing and contrast/tone for images.

Easy EZ buttons enable you to Copy, Scan, Email or create PDF documents at the push of a button. In Auto Scan Mode, it automatically removes the dark spine on thick documents to give an accurate and clean image, as well as any unnecessary black areas between pages. So whether you’re archiving your utility bills or sending photos to relatives, you can scan multiple documents quickly, without worrying whether they’re exactly aligned. Once scanned, images can be easily rotated so you don’t have to worry about which side up the document is placed. Even dust and scratches can be removed easily from your documents using the software supplied.

Just upgraded to Windows7, so had to buy new scanner. I chose the Cannon LIde 110 and its brillian. Fast, clean and with a lot more options for example PDF and E-mail at the touch of a button. I would however warn those thinking of buying the Belkin PRO Series Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Device Cable - USB c... by Belkin .......it doesn't need to be bought for this scanner as it doesn't fit. Why people buy it after viewing the scanner is a mystery to me!

Very good product. Small - so doesn`t take up much space and can easily be stored if you don`t want to have it attached to the computer all the time. Easy to install and very easy to understand - especially for a `geriatric`. Would recommend this without a doubt.

So far seems to work well; facility to scan direct to email is useful.Nice compact styling whilst still doing as good a job as bulkier scanners. Would recommend.
