Great product that turns your Canon printer into a fully functioning wireless printer. With my MP600 multifunctional all the functions work including scanning and ink/maintenance (with HCRP bluetooth protocol). The Bluetooth dongle in the host computer seems pretty irrelevant. I've used 'minis' and 'full size' USBs and there's been no problem. The one warning is to check the Canon site for your specific printer before you buy. Canon do a BU-10 and BU-30 version. You need to know which one is the right one for your model printer or you might find yourself disappointed.

I bought this to used with my pixma mp610. I wasn't sure if it would print word documents as Canon had told me it would only print jpegs, but it prints everything. It's really fast, just as fast as wires, unless you are printing photos, then it is painfully slow, but it gets there. I am using Vista and there are no compatibility issues. I use it with the belkin F8T012 bluetooth adapter for my laptop and the pc autodetects and installs the printer when you connect the bluetooth adapter.

This is great. I have it for my canon MP610. You must have it from Amazon. I dont understand why PC world and some other stores who sell bluetooth compatible printers will not stock this bluetooth printer server.

Does What it Says
We use this with our MP610 printer so we no longer need to plug the lap top in to print. Works great, very happy with the product, and was delivered quickly too.

This Bluetooth printer server does not work!
We bought the Canon BU-20 USB bluetooth print server to get rid of connecting the printer cable to the laptop each time you need a print.
