Ordered as a spare batter for my digital ixus 50. Works just fine. Have been using it for over a year now. Seems to have decent battery life, same as the battery that came with the camera. Was tempted to buy a "generic brand" imitation, but glad I went with the real thing in the end.

Bought this as a spare for my Ixus 75 camera and it is just the job as a spare. It charges up well and works fine. Always worth having a spare on hand to cover the possibility of damage or a full battery.

A couple of reviewers have marked this product down on the basis that Amazon don't provide the mAh specification. They do, they just needed to click on 'see more technical details'. Also, its on the product image so if you enlarge it you can see its 760mAh. Felt I should point this out in case it was off-putting to potential purchasers.
There are so many non-Canon batteries available on so many internet sites, I feel it is better to spend a bit more and buy one carrying the Canon name from a trusted seller, otherwise you have the hassle of returning, like I did recently with a memory card that didn't match the image shown.
