There are lots of doggy related books and TV shows on how to train/look after your pet, but it's rare to get good honest advice on correct feeding. My dog is 14, still lively and the correct weight which I put down to eating properly prepared food and avoiding tinned stuff. This book is a must for all dog owners if you want your pet to live a long and happy life. It'll most likely save on those vet bills! Thank you Elaine!

Excellent guide to this important aspect of canine care. dogs suffer from tumours too which can be diet-related. Particularly in tinned dog food, it is difficult to be sure what goes into it.
The information in Mrs. Everest's book is based on years of experience and dedicated care to dogs. It is well organised, a good read and will benefit both dogs and their owners. I can highly recommend this book to anyone who wants the best care for their dogs.

Great recipes for treats and biscuits, the dog loves them and I now know they're additive free. This book has given me confidence to break away from commercially produced food for part of my dog's diet. One minor criticism, it doesn't refer to wheat free diets, but I have tried the recipes with other flours and they work equally well, just be careful about the amount of liquid as they seem to take a bit less.
