Very good book. I was recommended this book at work and I found it very useful and informative when I went to Tenerife just recently. I know the the photos are black and white but I could still recognize the information being put across.

A useful book of the Geology of The Canary Islands. However very disappointing that all the pictures are in Black and White. For a book published in 2002 this is very poor as colour is especially relevent to Geologists wishing to identify an area or strata. What is worse is that one can be be mislead by the fact that the cover is in colour.
I cannot recommend this book to purchasers without them looking at it first, they may consider the content sufficient without colour photos, but I did not.
