It's great to see a book that focuses on the things children with learning difficulties CAN do. 'I Can, Can You?' includes lovely photographs of babies and toddlers with Down Syndrome, and portrays them in a way that doesn't patronize or pity. Children with Down Syndrome will appreciate the positive images of children like themselves, but I think this book will appeal to any young child.

This is fantastic, bought for a friends son with downs who is now 3, he loves it and it was such a hit with his family too. I wish Id got it last year although its a little young for him now in its style, its still great, lovely photos. Would highly recommend it!

My child is 3 years old and hasn't got Down Syndrome , but I though it would be a great book for her to appreciate diversity and form a positive and fair idea of DS kids . She loves it , has identified herself with the babies in the book and loves looking through its pages and saying that she can do those things as well ! The pictures are beautiful and the message is simple and positive, much more powerful than " he is special but is our friend " style of books around.
