3.0 out of 5 stars Ahem - the remix 12 Jun 2013
Verified Purchase
This summarises the points I made in my individual reviews of CD 1 (Can You Forgive Her?) and 2 (Can You Forgive Her).
Basically, the single is not a bad song but it is a bit effortful and overproduced - but none of the remixes can improve things significantly, except MK's Dub on CD 2.
The B-side of CD 1, "Hey, Headmaster" should have been an A-side while Johnny Marr makes a mess of remixing "I want to wake up".
The Brecht-Weill song "What keeps manking alive" is good.
And that's it.
And that's not much...
