Format:Audio CD
Recorded following the death of their father from Alzheimer's disease, this Roches album contains some deeply touching songs. Even so, this is a warm, pleasurable album, and the Roches never lose sight of their witty urban observations. A delight.

I hadn't heard the Roches in years until, rememering the harmonies of their debut album, "The Roches," I bought this CD. It's addictive -- I could (and have) listened to their beautifully interwoven voices over and over, in particular the title song as well as "My Winter Coat" and "I'm Someone Who Loves You." The Roches' wit and good humor make all of their songs sparkle like gems.

Frankly, I'm shocked that somebody gave this CD only 1 star!!! I personally feel that this album is the 2nd best Roches album, second only to 1989's brilliant "Speak" album. Who cares if the Roches lost their hard edge they had in the late seventies and early eighties? Artists change and evolve!!! Their fans should learn to do the same. The Roches have never forgotten how to write knock-out songs and to harmonize brilliantly, which is a rare commodity on other 90's albums by artists who, like the Roches, began their recording careers in the late seventies. In short, CWGHN is a great album. Don't miss out on this one, either!!!

This album is the high-water mark in the Roches' career. Beautiful songs, singing, and production make it an album I keep returning to. Can't recommend it highly enough, especially Margaret's songs You (Make My Life Come True), My Winter Coat, and the title track - sublime.
