5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent drawing book for childrenas well as mums and dads, 25 Feb 2001
By A Customer
This book was originally bought with "I can draw people" as birthday presents for friends of my daughter. The response from the parents was so pleasing that I bought the book myself for my daughters birthday, and yes I had to agree with them, that not only does it help the child to grasp the basics of drawing animals, it also gave me the confidence to draw an animal when she requested so. Would recommend this book to any parent of young children who's drawing of a cat does not look much like one!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Invaluable for Grans, 17 Oct 2008
By R. Howes "teifimerch" (Devon, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought this to save face when asked to draw by my four year old grand-daughters. I am devoid of any drawing skills, the only one in the family who can not draw a square. This book is a god-send! Not only can I draw mice that look like mice but a flamingo that is not mistaken for a vulture.I am no longer humiliated and do a mean line in illustrated stories! A perfect gift for the artistically challenged Grans!
