Book Description

France has over eleven thousand campsites. These range from rural farm sites (terrains a la ferme) to large holiday villages and from the exceptional to the poor. Ranton-Vienne Publications now have available camping guides to simplify the vast amount of information available from numerous sources.

From the Publisher

Throughout 2004 and 2005, a considerable amount of research was carried out by us and by our agents working in France. The market research, carried out has given us the criteria as to the information required.

The directory of campsites chapter is divided into the regional departments (counties) with each one having towns listed in alphabetical order. The index of the book contains all sites in town alphabetical order to enable users to find a site in a town quickly if one is needed. Information is laid out in concise, user-friendly tables so that constant reference to the chapter on using the books is kept to a minimum. However, the outer cover provides a guide to symbols and has been cleverly designed as a bookmarker.

The books 210mm X 148mm and are printed on high quality paper with laminated cover and strongly bound to last the rigors of many kilometres traveling and many hours browsing.

The guides contain practical information covering the day-to-day aspects of traveling in France which is aimed at both the experienced and novice traveler.

The language section has been written with basic words and phrases that will enable you to settle in to a French way of life during your stay.
