Bought this to replace the old one I had. It looked good on the web site and when it arrived it exceeded my expectations.
I found it very well made and having a carrying handle is a bonus. It makes it so easy to move and carry about. The large burner makes cooking easier.

great as a cooker very sturdy and gives off 3kwatt which is as good as the gas cooker at home, also doubles as a heater when camping. One thing to watch out for make sure the heater is firmly screwed on to the gas bottle as it can work loose in transportation as happened to me , put it away in the shed after a trip 2 days later the whole shed smelled of gas because the heater had come loose fro the bottle, best to remove it for storage.

Excellent stove. Why can't all Campingaz stoves be powerful? Answer, they nearly all run off weedy disposable butane cartridges. People complain about the cost of a 907 refill, but there is no Calor equivalent and the Coleman propane single burner would cost several times as much to run.

Extremely stable for a single burner, but very heavy with container and too tall for camping windshields and most camp kitchens. So you are left to the elements, and this also increases the cost of use and delay in cooking because of gas wasted by the wind.

My main gripe is the usual one of not being able to coax butane out of its container on a cold day, which you don't get with propane. Fortunately though the 907 is big enough to give some gas whatever the weather, although it did take 40 minutes to boil a kettle on Southport beach! Imagine how long it would have taken using the Carena CV470 version (which was quietly scrapped).

It is always a question of matching the cooling wind with the power of the flame, and in some case, even my Foker 9.2kw ring can't cope with the British weather. Although the Carena has good wind protection, a separate windshield is always a vast improvement in performance and economy.

Now the biggest criticism I can level, is the fact that generations of fisherman have used the Carena to fry on and make all future use of that 907 they have used rather dirty and smelly for the next user until that container has been refurbished, so I will stick to stoves and lanterns that do not use a 901/904 or 907. For those who don't mind this however, it is a good stove

Bought to supplement a twin ring cooker, but to be quite honest wish I'd just bought two of these, of course that means we need two gas bottles but we have them anyway.

This burner works very well where only one ring is needed, its unregulated 3Kw heat output heats things very quickly. It is the second I have bought as the first was so successful and still working well but I am lucky to have two cylinders. They are used on our allotment open days where large quantities of water for tea/coffee etc are required .

Impressed how good this was, been disappointed with previous camping stoves, seemed like no time at all when boiling a kettle.
