This album is by Donald Glover (who you may know as Troy from Community) and I have to say not only is it the best rap album of the year but one of the best albums of 2011

Camp seems to be a very personal album with him rapping about his family, relationships and more importantly how he may not fit in with Black America.

"Bonfire" see him firing back at those doubting his skills with witty lines, "Hold You Down" offers a brilliant commentary on the stereotypes placed on black youth and their inability to rise above them due to peer pressure, whereas in "Outside" he talks about his strained relationship with his cousin whilst also reflecting on his parents' struggle to move out of the ghetto to give him a better life. He raps about a potential hook up in a club with "L.E.S" and barks at an ex he can seem to forget in "Heartbeat" whilst in "Kids (Keep Up)" he looks to shake the jaded baggage he carries from girls who wanted nothing to do with him before he was famous. "Fire Fly" celebrates his rise to fame and "That Power" is a fantastic spoken-word recollection of pouring his heart out to a girl on the bus after summer camp.

This is my album of the year and one you should buy without hesitation.

Also, if you've never heard of Community then check that out too!! (Community - Season 1 [DVD])

Every track is great, a fantastic album you can play from start to finish. Childish Gambino is an exciting upcoming artist. If you enjoy Donald Glover's role as Troy on community, give his music a chance too, it won't disappoint.

Childish Gambino has a real quality style, but buy 'for the internet' instead as this has quiet a lot of musical weak spots

This album is an absolute masterpiece. Emotionally immersive with lyrics so witty, they are unmatched by any other rapper. Pure brilliance.
