5.0 out of 5 stars camlink pro tripod 10 Mar 2012

I love this tripod it is easy to carry around with its shoulder bag. inside you will find that the straps hold the tripod firmly in place,
therefore eliminating swinging movement when being carried.

The double handle which are adjustable, feels very nice and all round will see you looking very much the pro you want to be.
It is well weighted making it sturdy the ball head offers smooth panning movement and tilt is equally fluid and smooth, love it.

I recommend that as an additional purchase you get a dolly, as when mated together makes the shooting even better.

A 10/10 product I am very pleased with my purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for! 29 July 2011

It depends on what yoou're using it for really. I use it for filming. The only real problem is that the head isn't always very smooth. Maybe investing in a professional tripod head would be a good idea if people want to use this tripod professionally. But I can't complain, its dirt cheap!
Also the bag is very useful

3.0 out of 5 stars Maybe not that professional but still okay. 25 Feb 2013

I am only talking about the product itself, not about the price. I am not going to compare it with any Manfrotto video tripod or video head.

    Very first impression:

This is quite a small tripod, everything seems very tight, that cause some problems, like if you mount the camera on the head you will not be able to touch the screw bolt to tighten the plate up, because the screw is just under the camera, so you have to be careful when you slide the plate in, make sure that the lock is nearly to be locked, and make a tiny adjustment to lock it down.

The tilt lock is on the right side of the head as well, and when the right handle is mounted, the tilt lock will be very close to it, and causes a little uncomfortable to lock the tilt, of course you can use only the left handle, but that may cost a little smoothness when pan on this tripod.

This tripod provides two handles, they are really helpful on this tripod, because, if you use only one, as I mentioned earlier, the smoothness loss is noticeable, so even the right side of the head is not spacious, I suggest you to mount both of the two handles.

Neither the tilt nor pan movement can be really locked on this tripod head. They are just tightening them a little instead of locking, and the pan lock is a little round screw, not easy to be tightened anyway.

The smoothness of pan is just fine but the tilt is barely satisfactory. I think I am not going to track any movement anyway, so that may pass.

The legs, they are a little bit thin and light, I think when you pan or tilt the head when they are a little tighten up, the legs can be moved as well. Maybe a sandbag should be involved to avoid this happening.

The build quality is just the price can provide, should not ask for more.

This is the first review of this tripod, they are just some first impressions. Hope it's helpful for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little tripod for the price
It's a very well built and sturdy feeling tripod for the price, which still folds down quite small.
Very happy with it so far. Haven't found any down sides.
