In trying to identify camellias in a garden we've just acquired, this wonderful book has been of great help. Indeed, I've always wanted a Camellia Reticulata, especially Captain Rawes; who, according to John Loudon, first brought this plant back to the UK in 1820. However, not being able to find any books in garden centres that covered this subject in detail, I found this book on Amazon and it is a worthwhile investment covering Camellias in their many forms in great detail, their cultivation, pest and disease problems and more importantly their suitability to various climes and cultural needs. Lovely colour plates that aid with identification but do lead into temptation ....
