As Carolyn stated, the one star review is very misleading. This is the 2nd camelbak bottle I've had (lost the first one) and I have carried this bottle around in my bag every day for several months. It's fantastically useful for sports and everyday use. Only small problem is that the "bite valve" on the top can come off if you're very rough with the bottle (like if it constantly bangs against other things a lot in your bag) so it's easy to lose if you don't notice it fall off! Replacements seem to be quite expensive. On some of the bigger bottles you can fold the spout down into the lid of the bottle which is more useful as it prevents this problem! But overall fantastic value and I would reccommend!

These are the best drinks bottles I have ever used. The bite valve is simple and extremely effective for adults and even very young children (the valve is so similar to Anyway-up-cups). Very easy to clean too, as the straw and valve are easily removed (and re-assembled!).
I agree with the other comments, it is understandable to be annoyed that the product is unavailable, but very misleading to rate it one star (why not complain directly to Amazon?)and knock the consumer rating.

I already have the larger, solid version of this bottle & that's so good it's always being taken out of the house by other members of my family, so I needed another one for the gym.
That's when I came across this. It has the same no leak Camelbak bite valve and a removeable internal straw, so you can drink from it vertically or with your head tilted back, whichever is your preference.
The advantages of this bottle over the Camelback solid version is that it is slightly smaller, so fits in the gym equipment holders easier. It is made of lighter, flexible plastic, which you can squeeze for faster water flow. And it is cheaper, but still of the same Camelbak quality.
The solid bottle's bite valve flips down to close the flow, whereas this bottle twists to close and the bite valve remains upright, I prefer this for sports & training as it is constantly in use and the closing mechanism seems to be more watertight for chucking in the gym bag.
Overall I'm really pleased with it & I'll be buying more.

Very handy and light/solid drink bottle

Camelbak Bottle Review
This is an excellent product, used for the second time since christmas yesterday! Cleans easily and has a locking function so the drink doesn't spill out everywhere.
