Its a well known fact that Hollywood loves "Suspension of Disbelief" but this Movie Really Abuses the Privilege.
The Plot line for this most Amateurish Drivel, seems to be contrived only to appeal to the Brain dead Masses, who are never likely to see inside the pages of an Encyclopedia, and for whom Gun toting, weak dialogue spouting, Action heroes are the required Norm.
Once again It is yet another clichéd shindig that that sees a Hapless group of misfits and Hysterical Women pinned down in a remote location, by Over sized marauding Creatures intent on picking them off one by one, only to be saved at the last moment, more by luck than judgment, and then only to reinforce the Doctrine that the Good Ole US of A can repel anything given enough Firepower and Explosives.
Save your Money for Films better deserving of a Place in your Collection!!

Cult director Jim Wynorski has given us some thoroughly entertaining B-movies over the years (like the utterly brilliant Deathstalker 2 [DVD] [1987] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] but, if you were expecting the usual tongue-in-cheek thrills and laughs, you are likely to be disappointed with Camel Spiders.
There are a few cheeky hat-tips to other creature-features along the way (Them and Arachnophobia spring immediately to mind) but, for most of the time, Camel Spiders takes itself a tad too seriously. Some moderate gore and a wince-making "now that's got to sting a bit" moment (chap taking a pee) are diluted by rather clunky CGI and some silly action.
On the plus side, image quality is very good for a DVD, the scenery looks great, 5.1 surround sound is used to good effect and legendary music guru Chuck Cirino Cinemusic: The Film Music Of Chuck Cirino has contributed a memorably foot-tapping score.
No extras on the DVD though - was hoping for a director's commentary and some outtakes at least.

Incredible to watch when they are firing there weapons etc..
The weapons they use never have to be reloaded!!
Ok film if you like predictable plots and over the top acting.
