Being a big fan of Camel, i won't discuss the quality of the performances in here, which is very high. Two objections, anyway: 1) I don't like the whole "Camel footage" concept, consisting in distributing a selection of footage from various (much the same) gigs among different dvds; i'd much prefer buying whole concerts, e.g. Hammersmith 1976 or Hippodrome 1977. Whether or not this formula is more profitable to Mr. Latimer, it's not for me to say.
2) I was very disappointed to find out that the final guitar solo in White Rider -my favourite Camel piece, btw- has been badly edited. Why so?. I happen to have a bootleg uncut source in much worse image quality.
So, once more, official releases do not deliver the goods. Thumbs down to Andy Latimer as a producer. I'll keep waiting for a complete official edition of the show. Meanwhile, we'll have to keep to bootleggers.
