Product Description
All Pet Pad Products are made from solid hardwood which will not distort or rot. The Cambridge rabbit and guinea pig hutch is made from 12mm tongue and groove wood which has been dipped in a honey brown pet friendly wood preserve. The fox proof wire mesh used on all Pet Pad products is non toxic and animal friendly. The wire ensures that your animals are kept in and everything else is kept out. The guinea pigs and rabbits have access from the sleeping area to the run below via a ramp, the ramp has a trap door which can be closed at night if required. The hutch also has a removable sliding floor tray which makes cleaning the hutch much easier. All Pet Pad products are flat packed and the build time is approximately10 minutes, even a screwdriver is supplied. The build quality of all Pet Pad products is second to none. The construction is sturdy using only quality jointed timber (no butt joints or nails).

Delighted customer. What can I say apart from this is a a great rabbit hutch incorporating good quality materials at a great price. Packaging was excellent, instructions were clear with hutch built within 30 minutes. If you are looking for a good quality hutch, then look no further.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Just bought one of these Hutches and am happy with as it represents value for the price.
It is a well made product and easy to assemble, all you need is a phillips Screwdriver. One loose piece of roof edging due to an over threaded screw before delivery was easily fixed without needing to return it.
When researching hutches, there are several that look like this one, but in fact they may not all be the same size. So read the dimensions carefully. Why is this important? With a cold winter you will want to keep your rabbit warm and will perhaps look for a bespoke cover, the winter cover for the 'natura rabbit hutch' that looks like it will fit this hutch will in fact not fit (A point made clear on the site that sells the cover), however I bought on appearance - Doh!! If you want the natura cover, buy the natura hutch!!
The base of the hutch is flush to the ground, our other hutch has small 'feet' meaning it is raised slighly by about 2 or 3 cm's
Other than that:
- The run at the bottom is built in - i.e living accomodation and run do not separate our other 'lookalike' hutch does.
- The roll down blind is a nice feature
- The door catches are 'heart shaped' pieces of wood. I am not a fan. You may wish to invest in small door bolts
- we have erected a large run area in on our back lawn for the rabbits to run around and graze on. If you don't have the space then buy an extra run or a bigger hutch. We wouldn't be happy leaving a rabbit in the hutch as if for more than a day.

This hutch does NOT meet RSPCA's welfare guidelines for rabbit OR guinea pig accommodation, its too small (the guidelines being 5ft for one rabbit, 6ft for a pair of rabbits, and 4ft for guinea pigs.). Maybe would be suitable for one guinea pig or babies.
Nothing beats seeing these animals in appropriate sized accommodation!
