Product Description
The latest edition of this very successful and authoritative set of tables still benefits from clear typesetting, which makes the figures easy to read and use. It has, however, been improved by the addition of new tables that provide Bayesian confidence limits for the binomial and Poisson distributions, and for the square of the multiple correlation coefficient, which have not been previously available. The intervals are the shortest possible, consistent with the requirement on probability. This book is a clear, concise and easy-to-use source of statistical information in the use of calculating probability values and testing significance levels. It has everything the typical statistician needs, including a short description of the functions involved and their calculation formulae. For those who say that this is 'boring' and 'dry', bear in mind that this is not a qualitative book to read from cover to cover, it is, as the title suggests, a set of tables for statistical use. In order to use them, one will need to learn about statistics from a textbook or guide in order to understand their use

There isn't all that much to be said about this one. It's a useful book that I was required to get for my distance learning. I haven't learnt how to use it yet, but it seems easy and practical enough.
