I was excited about receiving this - figuring I could use it while learning Khmer. Now I've received it, I'm disappointed. There is only Khmer script and English (No pronunciation / phonetic guides to the words). So it's no good for learning or understanding spoken Khmer.
Two stars because just about every dictionary you pick up has a guide for pronouncing words and this is (probably) useful if you can read and pronounce Khmer script and want to find an English word and vice-versa.

good dictionary

This is a good, complete dictionary. While it may not cover everything, it is rather extensive, and includes sub-entries for words or expressions that utilize the main entry word which is very helpful. It does not, however, teach pronunciation like a phrase book would. The reader is expected to know how to read and speak Cambodian. I would recommend buying a "learning Cambodian" book in addition to this book.

This dictionary may be good for people familiar with the Khmer alphabet.
