Product Description

Platform: PC | Edition: Standard Edition

Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare.

Futuristic missions give you new weapons and scenarios to get to grips with
The CLAW is a Cognitive Land Assault Weapon that can be utilised as an in-game vehicle
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a new story with elements and characters from previous games
Attacks come from land and sky with the new quadrotor guns

Combining incredible high-dynamic range graphics and sensational new gameplay, Black Ops II sets you off on secret operations as Frank Woods – the protagonist from the original Black Ops game.

The non-linear storyline will see you battling during a futuristic Cold War, as well as tackling flashbacks from historical missions and playing as various members of the Mason family. Every decision you make during this story will affect future consequences, giving you a different experience every time you play.

With new futuristic weapons, the chance to master a number of different vehicles and modes of transport, and a mysterious villain - known simply as Raul Menendez - Black Ops II is set to be the ultimate Call of Duty game.

Beyond the Campaign

Alongside the epic Campaign and branching story is the all-new Multiplayer mode. New maps, new game-styles and new perks make this the most engaging Multiplayer yet!

The fantastic Call of Duty Elite service is provided for free alongside the action-packed game, allowing you to use a number of incredible features which will enhance and extend your Multiplayer experience.

Zombies Mode also makes a comeback with a series of challenging maps and missions that enable you to fight off the dead in even more ways.

4.0 out of 5 stars Black Ops ll 31 May 2013

I've played every CoD game and enjoyed every one. Black OpsII is great but too short for single player mode. Graphics are breathtakingly good, action's great but the game's over too soon. Being paralysed from shoulders down I used adapted PC controls so can't really compete in multiplayer mode as I'm way to slow so 75% of the game's content is lost to me. However I can replay single player campaigns time after time trying to achieve all the achievment awards throughout every mission

Purchased new at a great low price,I'm reasonably happy overall.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed - short, rushed single-player mode 11 Nov 2013
Platform for Display:PC| Edition:Standard Edition|Verified Purchase
I thoroughly enjoyed the original Call of Duty games (1 to 3 - I didn't play any of the Modern Warfare ones) but this one is very disappointing. The single-player game (which is all I use) is short (6 hours max) and there's little freedom to go and explore places. If you don't "follow" the mission closely you'll get warnings about falling behind and eventually you'll die. You just feel like you're being cajoled through to the end of the story as fast as possible.

It's got some nice graphics - I'll give it that - but it has lost a lot of what made the original Call of Duty games good. It may be better as a multi-player game but I don't play those so I can't comment. I get it that multi-player online gaming is the growing trend these days but they'd be better off just not bothering to include a single-player mode rather than adding some half-hearted attempt like they've done here - at least I'd know not to bother with it then.

As it stands, I feel as if I've been a bit ripped off and I've been generous in giving it 2 stars (mainly due to some nice graphics and the fact that I encountered no crashes playing it).

4.0 out of 5 stars much better than modern warfare 25 Jun 2014
Platform for Display:PC| Edition:Standard Edition|Verified Purchase
I much prefer the black ops series to modern warfare. Its a bit more storyline based for campaign missions and I can get into it a bit more. Shame about Sam Worthington doing the voice but minor complaint really. Still think its not as good as black ops1 but enjoyed it all the same. Many COD games just blend into one these days. Not sure how long the franchise has left before it becomes a bit stale to be honest. But I'll keep playing them as long as they keep making them

A great follow up to the first Black Ops. Start the single player campaign in the highest mode and play a great fps game.

Multiplayer is very good, however campaign isn't particularly good, despite all the famous people in it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun 19 Feb 2014
Platform for Display:PC| Edition:Standard Edition|Verified Purchase
Fun game to play when there's nothing else to play.
I had problems getting it to work at first and customer support couldn't figure it out (as always)
I figured that out though, it was due to software called Virtual Audio Cable, I uninstalled that and the game now runs flawlessly.

3.0 out of 5 stars A little too Gun & Run 2 Jan 2014
Platform for Display:PC| Edition:Standard Edition|Verified Purchase
Instantly playable game without the need to earn guns. Graphics are a little basic compared to COD MW3, but it's fun for a while. Easy to rank up and for now it's still possible to get an online game because of how badly Ghosts has failed, folk are still playing this.
