Having been studying ECG's for coming on two years now I have started to go more in depth with my analysis of them and a number of books reccommended a set of calipers. These were the only set I found! They are of good quality and a nice compact size, no complaints, they do as they say!

These calipers are exactly what I needed. They haven't gotten loose over time, as lesser calipers are prone to do, and the pins are also sharp and actually come together into a point (again, lower quality calipers often have issues with that). Both of the previous qualities ensure that my measuring is always accurate.
Again, a wonderful product at a good price.

I'm still learning about EKG/ECG so I like having these calipers on me. It's easy to hold compare to the cheaper ones that I found on my hospital floor. It stops at a precise angle and doesn't move when I compare the boxes. I'm a picky person about the equipment i use and they work fine.

The calipers themselves are great. I've had mine for over a year and a half and has not fallen apart, it doesn't get loose... and what else can you say about calipers? They are simple tools, as long as they are sturdy, which these are.
The problem is the overall design is not very well suited for a coat/shirt pocket. The cover that comes with it is loose and will come off easily or just fall off, exposing the sharp points. And since the calipers are small and don't have a stable means of hooking onto your pocket, it falls into the pocket, from where you have to fish it out when needed. And when you do, watch out for the cover coming off and drawing blood from either your finger or your chest wall. Plus its a pain to pull it out when you have other stuff in your pocket... And for those who care about appearances (it does make a difference on rounds you know) it looks way goofy on rounds when the attending is trying to fish out calipers from their pocket...
