Is it very noisy 30 Mar 2014
No. Ignore the reviews about it being too loud, it's not even as loud as a battery operated hand held fan. It depends on how sensitive your ears are I suppose. I would recommend buying one, it has served me well so far. Just don't have it close to your bed if you're trying to sleep ;-) if you're having it in a bedroom (as I have) place it in a corner as far from your pillows as possible. Hope this helps.
Absolutely not. You cannot put ANY fridge into a cupboard without the correct ventilation. The vast majority of fridges (including this one) are NOT designed to be put into a cupboard at all. The Caldura Silent range of fridges (do a search and you will find them) can be built-in, but even then, just like all other fridges that can be "built-in", they need a very specific ventilation path to be designed into the furniture. If you do not follow this advice then your fridge will not perform well, and will fail prematurely - as it will be working at full tilt continuously due to the heat build up around the unit.
it is 240v and it does produce quite a lot of heat at the back but it does a good job for keeping things fresh.
what are the internal dimensions please? 4 days ago
Sorry for delay, had to wait on tenant to measure it. Its 30x24x24cm (30 across, 24 deep and 24 height), he says you have to make allowance for door tray which is 7cm so actual depth back to front when closed is 17cm. He says it runs very quiet, and the door tray can be removed.
i need a small fridge for my small office to store milk and orange juice cartons would you suggest this one to suit me ? 8 days ago
I would recommend it, but it is quite small - you wouldn't fit a 4 pint of milk bottle in there. The hight can fit 2 cans of coke stacked on top of one another without the shelf.
