Roller coaster of terror 11 Feb 2011
By stfuminjakid - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
There are very few works of literature that make me shudder. I've read countless horror stories with ease. But Calamity is different. J.T. Warren has a natural talent for the dark and sinister. This novel is definitely something special.

Just when you think things can't get any worse, it does. And it's hellish, to say the least. The horrors and pain that Warren puts his characters through is unbearable. Seen through the perspective of three dynamic characters, the reader is taken on a journey that spins into chaos.

Would I recommend this novel to other readers? Absolutely. The story of each character is very interesting and Warren has a way of keeping you coming back for more. It's a real page turner; it's mesmerizing and terrifying at the same time. I know I'm going to have second thoughts about driving under an overpass.

5 out of 5. Without a doubt. It's thought provoking and the plot digs it's roots into you. Fantastic read.

Not for the fainthearted 9 Feb 2011
By Scott Nicholson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
As an author who has been accused of reveling in unredeemed characters and dark plots myself, I have to say JT Warren has disturbed even me with this exploration of a broken family and the cost of spiritual temptation. Like a car crash, you can't look away once you pass by. And the scariest thing is you'll recognize bits of yourself inside these characters.

Worth every penny... 19 Jan 2012
By Deacon D. - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
As free kindle books go, this one is worth every penny...but not one penny more. Ridiculous, clueless characters trapped in hopelessly contrived (and predictable) situations provide for a story that is so silly that it actually made me laugh at times. This is NOT a horror novel...it's more like a cross between the nightmares and wet-dreams of a teen boy.
