Just doing this to redress the balance really. One review says get the reissue when B00000IG38 is the reissue as far as I know.
Also another reviewer refers to these being re-recordings when the album is clearly labeled as OST.

I think these reviews, which might have put people off unneccessarily were for 'Songs from Clamity Jane and The Pajama Game'for which they would fit!
It wouldn't be so bad if the reviews were not borrowed by every shopbot out there!

Format:Audio CD
A classic set of sing-a-long songs from lovely Doris to get your feet tapping and your vocal chords a warbling. Re-recorded songs from original cast members of both Calamity Jane and The Pajama Game (it's how they spell pyjama not me!)some of the tracks don't fully convey the atmosphere of the actual film versions. But don't let that spoil your enjoyment of these wonderfully happy and memorable tunes. "I just blew in from the Windy City", "Secret Love" and "I can do without you" speak for themselves. If you're a Doris Day fan - this CD is one for your collection.

I was disapointed to find that the recordings were not from the original sound-track.Most of them are sung by Doris Day and not the people in the film.Also she sings Black Hills of Dakota on her own and it should be with Howard Keel (which is why I bought it in the first place).All in all I was very disapointed.

Why have this when you can buy the re-issue !
The soundtracks are fab but with the re-issue now available from amazon.co.uk 'Songs from Calamity Jane/Pajama game' you'd be better off ordering that as it benefits from original... Read more

Doris sings her heart out here!
These two sound tracks are among the best from Dodo's films. Listen to her sing 'I'm not at all in Love' (from 'Pajama Game') and you believe her! Read more
