I was upset to find that the songs were not directly from the sound-track of the film. Most of the songs were sung by Doris and not the original artists and the words are slightly changed in "Just flew in from the windy city". Also she sings Black Hills of Dakota alone and not with Howard Keel as in the film.The recording is good and worth buying but a bit disapointing.

If you love the Doris Day then you are in for a treat......If you are looking for the songs from the film / stage show.....then NO!! I would advise not to buy this.

The sound quality of this is utter rubbish!! And there are only 8 songs from Calamity Jane. I'm glad I didn't pay much for this, but it's a shame it's ruined my musical reminince. Same is true of Seven Brides...
