This book had some great ideas for simple cakes and it was refreshing to see some 'not totally perfect' finishes in a published book i.e. the finish on the fondant of the football shirt was shocking!! Even the great (not that it would have been Jane Asher that made it!) have off days :o)

This is a fantastic book. There is a good mixture of recipes for all occasions and each one is explained well with lovely photography. You don't really need any baking skills as the fun is all in the decorating.

sweeties and rubbish
I am disappointed in this book as the kids cakes as well as a wedding cake are decorated with sweeties.

Great Cake Book
Lovely cake book. Puchased for Christmas,for my sister's present. So hopefully my nephew can be amazed by his birthday cakes. Great quality book, well worth it!
