About the Author
Cakes 4 Fun was launched in 2001 by Carolyn White, a former protege of Lindy Smith. She runs two busy shops in Putney with a talented team of designers, specialising in bespoke, contemporary and novelty cakes; also running popular cake decorating and sugarcraft courses. Their cakes have been featured in many wedding magazines, including Brides, and The Good Wedding Guide, as well as in Crafts Beautiful and Decoration Magazine. They are based in London, UK.

Nothing new in here in terms of designs or recipes but does have some great tips and covers pretty much everything about cake pops including troubleshooting and using chocolate instead of candy melts. Some of the designs are way too fondant based such as the dummies, also covering cakes with glitter is just gross. I prefer the Molly Bakes book in terms of creativity and inspiration as the designs in this one are pretty much the same as the other cake pops books, but they're not as well executed.

My first cake pop book and I am very inspired to have go! It takes you through recipes to techniques and some great ideas for all special occasions. Go on treat yourself and get popping! :-)
