Synopsis
Cagney and Lacey were a female crime fighting duo working in a man's world. They were tough-talking, did not take any crap from anyone and got the job done. Though they did not invent the idea of women police officers, it was still somewhat of a novelty to see this on TV in the early 1980s and the public ate up this realistic show featuring less-than-perfect characters. CAGNEY AND LACEY spanned a total of six years on the air and Tyne Daly won a total of four Emmys and Sharon Gless won two.
