I received two of these as a christmas present. Both glasses cracked within a couple of months of dishwasher cleaning. I complained to "La Cafetiere" who were very good and sent two replacement glasses (without the metal parts which were fine).

These replacements were never cleaned in the dishwasher, yet still only lasted a few months. I now have two metal containers and no glasses. I think the problem is that the glass is so thin. Far too fragile for hot liquids.

The spoons are just metal tubes with a small disc welded at one end, they are cute nonetheless.

I received a set of four latte glasses from someone else that christmas. These are far plainer, with no metal element and were half the price. The glass is at least three times as thick. They are cleaned in the dishwasher and are still being used 18 months later, alongside the la cafetiere's spoons.
