Format:Audio CD
I'm a chill out junkie and at the latest count I have 215 albums.
If I had to compile my own Best Of Cafe Del Mar many of the tracks would come from this CD. A truly sublime mix of styles beatifully put together. If you're new to the series, start with this one but you may want to listen to the others before you commit as the stlyes can vary quite a lot from volume to volume.

I've got all the Cafe Del Mar albums - I collect them and treasure them like good books. If you want an introduction to Cafe Del Mar - don't get No.1, go and buy Volume 6, in my opinion this is the best of the lot, the others are good, but this is the one I will never get bored of.

I first heard this cd whilst doing a working session at a friends house. I promptly 'borrowed' the cd until my friend go tso fed up with me for having it that I had to go out and buy one for my self. THE best money I've ever spent on a cd. It's mellow and upbeat at the same time, THE perfect working and ambient music for almost anything really, and the entire cd takes you on a trip and an adventure if you let it!

There are some good tracks on this CD, but there are also alot of repetitive one

rubbish
boring middle of the road, only fit for background music in a cafe.

Cool Chill for Hot Summer
Cool, melodic, softly swinging Latino Groove. As good as, if not better than Cafe del Mar Vol.5

It's Cafe time
Hypnotic, chilled and highly addictive; this is arguably the best in the Cafe del Mar series so far. A good way in to the series too.
