This book seems to be a good source of information.
But, for me, doesn't work as a guide. There is too much text, not exactly separated. To find something, you have to start reading the whole text, like a novel.
You can't just look exactly what you are looking for.
If you like to read, you'd like this book though.
Has a lot of in-depth cultural and historical backgrounds, which is not what I'm looking for now. I'm looking for something more practical (places + description + how to get there/around). For this the Lonely Planet seems better, but... the last published date for Crete is 2008!
