Book Description

Six months have passed since United Earth Defense Fleet (UEDF) cadets Ryan Thompson, Amanda Williamson, and their senior class saved earth from destruction at the hands of the Altarrans. It seems like yesterday that they learned startling truths about the strange invaders from Altarra, and undertook the adventure of a lifetime.

As the cadets now prepare for graduation, Amanda is haunted by vivid nightmares of another alien race, this one much more deadly, and with a mission to annihilate all life within our galaxy. Worse, she’s having mysterious blackouts and apparent visits from an ancient entity, who warns that the Karang are coming.

With the help of their former enemies, the Altarrans, Ryan, Amanda and the entire UEDF must hold off the Karang against all odds, while searching for a long-hidden, legendary weapon known as the Ship of the Gods, which may be the only slim hope for Earth’s survival.

A good fantasy story which will keep you wanting to read more. The writer has picked a story line that will have you looking for the next book and still have a continuation of the story so far. It shows what could happen in our twist futures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Miller is still able to suck you in with his storytelling 2 Sept. 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on
As I went looking for another Kindle book to read over the Labor Day weekend, I saw that Miller released a sequel. I didnt even take the time to read the summary and instantly got it opened up, While the book continues where the first one left off, Miller is still able to suck you in with his storytelling. If you dig scifi and want to mentally "get away" for a while, get this book. You will not regret it.

I love that Amazon / Kindle allows authors who would never have been been published in the traditional manner to tell their stories. I love the fact that through Kindle I have a huge selection of excellent books of all kinds to read.

Ed Miller has put together a well crafted story that's fun and entertaining, thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to read and follow 1 Oct. 2014

This book takes off and just keeps moving. Easy to read and follow. The building of the characters and their interactions from the previous book is excellent and leaves you knowing that the characters will continue to evolve and makes you wonder where you will be lead in the next sequel. The alliance between Earth and Altarra continues to grow as does the relationships between the individual characters. The power and strength of both body and mind are combined for these warriors - can we say the same for their battleships and weapons of war?? The answer to that is to be found in the book. What other Aliens from what Planets will be encountered in the future. How will this last battle influence the re-building of the planets and their governments to be prepared for future encounters with the evil that has not yet been perceived or are we to believe that all is well and peace will reign.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read for Science Fiction fans!!! 26 Sept. 2014

I loved this story, I can't wait to see where he takes the amazing universe he created!!! The only bad part is awaiting book three. Be warned, you will probably miss work because you'll not be able to put it down, it's that good. It has it all; intrigue, action, adventure, romance, bromance and more all wrapped up in a Science Fiction shell.

Great read! The story flows easily from the first book. Urgently working to save the planets the joint forces work to unravel the ancient mysteries that are their only hope, you follow the trials that must be overcome along with the development of lasting friendships both personally and militarily. Good choice for readers of many ages.
