Product Description

It's Valentines Day and everything's changing in the Casson household.

Indigo sets out to do something special to win over Sarah and ends up organising the Valentines Day disco and playing cupid. Saffy has a strange new boyfriend who teaches her all about the stars. Sarah falls very ill - when she can no longer laugh it off Saffy gets scared. And Caddy has fallen in love and is getting married ... but not to Michael.

With a wedding to plan everything's a little crazier than usual in the Casson household. Especially as the only one who seems to be happy for Caddy is Bill.

But it's Permanent Rose who's taking the news the hardest. She made a BIG promise to Michael - how is she going to keep it now? (20061208)

This is the funniest of all the excellent Casson Family series. It made me laugh more than any book I have read for years. I kept getting to bits that I just had to read out to whoever was with me, only to find out that the next paragraph mounted to still greater heights of crazy brilliance. Check out the scene where Rose's friend Kiran is telling Rose all about weddings she has known ... The combination of warmth and sympathy with spot-on skewering of the pomposities and contradictions of contemporary life is what gives these books their edge over most 'older child and young adult' fiction. I want to see the movie.

A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
i am so sick of reading books about misereble, stupid teenagers who are all vampires and bullied children and live in a world of misery and hate, which is the only thing my pants liabray containes. just when i was thinking that all childrens books were going down hill and i might give up hope of finding a good book again, i found this.
it is the exact oppisite of feather boy. (the worst book in the universe wich shows everything bad in kids books) the charectors aren't stupid and personality less, there all as colourful as the paint chart on there kitchen wall and really make me care about them and want to stay with them forever.
it is so funny i laughed constantly, and had a great plot wich suprised and delighed me.
it is a lovely book, if you dont love it your mad.
