Normal size (cablebug5) is fine for power and lan cables, smaller (cablebug2) should be for audio cables and similarly sized items. The two models have the same external size (11x11x50mm, approx 0.4x0.4x2"), the smaller model just adds inner plastic flaps to hang to smaller cables. Normal size fits perfectly ethernet cables, just tight enough to stay exactly where placed: they won't slide down along a vertical cable. Their size is no bigger than an rj45 connector so they don't waste space on switches nor add clutter. Just beware the cable cannot bend a lot inside them, so you cannot have abrupt curves in the very point you place them. Bags with just one color are available from the seller, hopefully they soon will be available here too, I agree that mixed color bags, being there many colors, will be less useful. Anyway, in the last bags I bought, the colors were in pairs.
The cablebugs may seem a bit fragile at the beginning, but they are flexible, and - as long as you don't apply too much force when detaching - they will be ok.
They attach well to LAN cables and they look pretty nice.
One small issue: the cablebug has imprinted (engraved) on oneside the logo of the company - the words "cable label coTM". If you intend to write directly on plastic, then you might find difficult to write on the side with engraving. Might have been better to have both sides of the bug to be smooth, with no engraving.
I am going to try and contact the seller in case this is an error, in which case, I will amend this review, but for the moment, I'm annoyed!

Used on cat6 network cables, but they feel like they are gong to fling off at any time. So I had to use cable ties around the case to secure them.
Good, but not great.
