Basically, how it works is there's a kind of tubular-clothes-peg-thingy, which you open and place your cables in. Then you place that in the opening of the cable tidy and zip it through, using it to part the cable tidy open. It then automatically places the cable-tidy round the cabled for you.
Not much to say about this really, except its really, really satisfying using the clip to 'zip' up your cables. It feels very therapeutic for some reason. And not just because everything is tidy (OCD?). it's the actual sensation of passing the peg through the cable tidy.... mmmmm.... its sooooooo nice!
I use a lot of these. They protect stray wires from my cats who love to chew little black cables and they keep all the cables round the back of my TV is place. Once you use one, you get kind of addicted and have to use them on everything. They can also be cut to size.
If this review was helpful, please give it the thumbs up - and if not - comment on why so I can do a better job for you next time. Thanks :-)
This item was supplied by Grendle via Amazon.
This one has done the job. Seems of good quality for what it is and the install widget worked well. Easily handles 3/4 TV type leads,power/HDMI/coax.
Easily enough to connect 3 bits of equipment on a standard TV stand down to ground level multiplug.
Used it with some velcro cable ties (seperate supplier) to help with some of the spread out cables into the TV itself.
Why don't they put the connections vertically in the centre of TVs rather than round the edge?
Used mine to tidy up 3 small speaker wires, large PC monitor and power lead cable at a push. I still had to use tiny bits of wire to secure all the cables in place in order to get the product to take all the cables in one go. You need to slide the cable feed device in one go as if you hit a snag with 1 wire popping out, you have to start from the beginning, so make sure all your cables are very neatly bundled together before you start. It works, but perhaps a little too flimsy for my liking and the key is to take you time and not rush with it and you'll get the desired result as it can be very fiddly to take numerous wires in one go.
Overall, the result in tidying up wires around a PC is something I wish I done years ago with a product like this as it's all aesthetically neat and tidy now.
I have alot of cables running behind my computer with speakers, keyboards, monitors etc and it fit them all quite easily.
