Have fitted to the plants okay, some problems with crows pulling them off again! Working on a birdscarer now. Only time will tell if they work for sure

This item came up in my "slug deterrent" search so I ordered it as it was organic - only problem is that it is only designed to prevent cabbage root fly, not deter slugs. It might be good at deterring insects but the slugs are still enjoying my cabbage and broccoli so not much help in that department.
This was a product I had not heard of before. We have just started our own veg plot and decided to do everything to make it successful. These cabbage collars did seem to help (I think) as we managed to grow good cabbages without diseases or pests. However, whilst the plants were smaller with thinner stems they did keep blowing off in the wind and having to be replaced. Once the plants had grown and had thicker stems for the most part they stayed in place. I dont know if I would bother usig them again.
