I am a practising emergency physician and always trying to keep abreast and review constantly. This book is a gem and I review every night to keep updated and renewed. I have reviewed a lot of ER texts and this is my favourite.
the layout is friendly and the language is easy and feels like you on the shop floor with a knowledgeable colleague. Thanks guys for your handwork...it was worthwhile.

Great book for the EM medstudent / resident 7 Jun. 2011

This book is great for the EM medstudent / resident. Only problem is it's big so it may not have that convenience factor that we all look for. However, it covers everything.

Great 4 Jun. 2012
By J. Fischer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I am an ER nurse that wanted a little extra explanation on the orders I receive. This is a great book that covers a lot of areas without going into too much depth.

Great book for medical students or residents. Very readable within a month's rotation. Also, good for referencing cases after a busy shift when you can't keep your eyes open.

I love emergency medicine and it impossible that i don't have this one. Chapters are quite well written. Flowcharts are helpful. Information is quite direct, to the point. I didnt give 5 star because i still use other EM books. didnt find the perfect one yet.
