An unusual cucumber variety that produces 'lemon shaped' fruits. Light yellow skin and white flesh. Matures after around 60 days.
Very mild, sweet and never bitter. Best harvested at lime size. A popular older variety, and very productive

They are very easy to grow and do well in areas that have short summers, as fruits mature faster and need less heat to ripen than most cucumbers

Have had some success with these. I gave some away as seeds and some as small plants. Tried one in a raised bed from a small plant but it died. My 2 remaining plants are looking good. I have these in medium sized terracotta pots growing up a cane, gently tied on. Today (06/07/11) I have discovered some little cucumbers coming along nicely a lovely bright yellow. These do not seem as easy as usual cucumbers but would grow again as a bit of a challenge!
Cannot wait to see what they taste like. I will give a progress and taste feedback if I have further success.

Lemon Cucumber seeds
Seeds arrived promptly. All seeds have turned into seedlings. Don't know about quality and quantity of fruit yet. Autumn will tell!

very tasty crop

never recieved my order

i put them in green house only 1 plant though,,so far i,ve had over 20 cucumbers off and theres plenty more 2 come.nice size 4 2 ppl,good taste,will grow again next year.
