I work in a sterile lab and if I was to touch a keyboard I would have to change my gloves due to contamination. I had a previous generation magic keyboard that projected the keyboard onto a sterile surface for me and it worked OK but always lost pairing or was not entirely accurate when I type quickly.

This new one is amazing, it is very small, there is a bright LED display on the front so I know it has paired properly with my iPad, it shows the status so I know it is functioning correctly.

However the best bit is that it is really bright (the keyboard is easy to see) and the accuracy is perfect, leaps and bounds ahead of the device I previously used. In fact I can type naturally without it missing a beat which is pretty important when entering lab tests results..... and of course I can do this while I keep my sterile gloves on which saves me at least an hour a day of messing around.

I would recommend this 100% to my friends whether for professional use such as myself, or just a s super gadget that will make peoples jaws drop. It really looks like something out of the future.

I love it!

This is a great device, very fun and accurate. However, I am an avid gamer and with this device you can't hold down certain keys (eg. w, s, a, d etc.) which is a major problem, but seeing that other keys (shift and delete) can be held down I'm hoping this may be fixed in a future update. furthermore it only has a US layout which is a wee bit annoying but bearable. Other than those two minor problems its fantastic! Great layout and very responsive, and would defiantly recommend.

I have problems in my fingers and typing on a regular keyboard can be painful. I bought the laser keyboard as I would not have to press any keys. The keyboard is genius and everyone who sees me typing gets impressed - it looks like science fiction. The main drawback is hypersensitivity and i often end up with more letters that I wanted to type. You have to be relatively accurate with the area you hit otherwise you get the wrong letter. O use it everyday and although sometimes I find the sensitivity irritating, the lack of pain in my fingers more than compensates for this.
