From the very first season of this ground breaking show it was clear that we were in for something great. And now, twelve seasons later CSI is still going as strong as ever. Even though i was sad to see Grissom go, Laurance Fishburne makes a worthy succesor to his role and he fits in with the rest of the team easily. This tenth season is just as interesting, exciting, addictive and engrossing as its predecessors and it's impossible not to become attached to the CSI team. Almost all of the episodes are excellent, and the writing is still very good, though it would be nice to have more of a focus on the forensics which does seem to be slipping slightly (this is particuarily evident in season 11, though does not really mar it). Stand out storylines this season include the Dr Jekyll cases which run through much of this season (began in season 9). If you are looking for a series to become very much addicted to, then look no further, CSI has everything a good TV show should: interesting plot lines, engaging characters and enough excitement, explosions, action and evidence gathering to please even the most ardent of viewers.
As a bonus to keen fans there are some quality special features that include interviews and making ofs as well as some good commentarys if people are interested in hearing the actors and writers talk about particualr episodes.
