Product Description

The feature-length season five finale of the American crime drama, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. During a quiet night shift, Nick Stokes (George Eads) is dispatched by the team to investigate a report of human remains found in an alleyway. When he disappears, the rest of the team are sent chilling evidence of his abduction - captured by a deranged madman, Nick is entombed in a clear coffin with a tape-recorder, a gun, and only 12 hours of air. In a live web feed to his colleagues, Nick starts to panic, and the team have a nerve-wracking race against time to discover his location before the air runs out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding! 25 Sep 2006
Format:DVD
I have not being watching CSI for long, but a few weeks in i was already engrossed and i knew all the characters! Nick Stoakes being my favourite! This is a typical Tarintino! As always he brings you totally out of your comfort zone! I am ok with the guts, gore and blood that CSI usually holds, but when i am faced with Nick being buried alive, i just freaked out! As you watch CSI more and more you become immune to the idea of death and you feel nothing for the dead person as you knew nothing about them, but in this i was taken totally out of that zone and thrown into a great horror! As you watch CSI you get to know every character and when one of them is in danger, you just freak out! this is definately one to watch if you are an avid CSI watcher, if you are not it probably won't have the same effect, but CSI lovers will be on the edge of their seats with this thrilling rollercoaster! (and if you buy this you won't have to wait a week to see the second part, as I did and believe me, the end of the first one is a cliffhanger!)

5.0 out of 5 stars The best C.S.I. episode ever! 6 Aug 2007
By Dr Evil TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Format:DVD
'Grave Danger' is the gripping double-bill C.S.I. Season 5 finale and is probably the best episode so far. The story begins when CSI Nick Stokes is kidnapped while investigating a crime scene and is then buried alive in a glass casket by his kidnapper. The Las Vegas Police Department receives a package with a tape and a hardware to be able to watch a live web-feed of Nick inside the casket, together with a request of one million dollars cash to release him. Grissom's team of CSIs now have the seemingly impossible task of finding the kidnapper, and more importantly - locating Nick.

With the addition of guest director Quentin Tarantino and a cameo from Tony Curtis, this episode couldn't be better. Excellent acting all round from the usual C.S.I. cast, especially George Eads (who plays Nick) who should have won an award for his chilling and emotional acting in this episode. If you've got a weak heart or a nervous disposition, I'd perhaps avoid this episode as it is extremely tense and very disturbing, but for anyone else - I cannot recommend this episode highly enough. Whether you're watching it as part of the series or as a stand-alone "movie", C.S.I. doesn't get any better than this. Brilliant acting, brillant directing, brilliant story - just plain brilliant from start to finish!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! 14 Oct 2005
Format:DVD
This episode it just fantastic. Not only is it full of action, adventure and a heart pumping story but i found myself getting a little teary-eyed towards the end. Tarantino's directing style fits well to CSI and i think this episode works really well.

I saw this episode on TV when it was 1st broadcast and had been eager to watch it ever since. Even after the 3rd time of watching it, i still find my self getting emotional over this episode.

Not the normal from CSI but certainly as great quality as we've all come to know and love.

You will not regret this purchase - I haven't!
