Each of the 4 disks presented different problems when installing in Vista. Settings needed to be changed in different ways each time, one needed a download patch to even get it working in English and, even after all that, the first disk won't play right to the end despite everything.
OK, Vista is a pain in general, so maybe this isn't all the game's fault - and CSI games are pretty good to play as a rule; but unless you are reasonably adapt at configuring your PC (or you have some reliable assistance to hand from a tekky friend), I'd advise you think twice before getting this for a Vista PC or laptop.

When I first bought a CSI game I wondered how the game/player play routine would work.
Not to worry. It is brilliant.
When you do something wrong or forget or miss something you hear the voice of your supervisor telling you or giving hints.
The same voice saying the same thing over and over can be quite annoying but the way the games work is really - I say it again - brilliant.

The game includes four different csi games for a great price. The game works fine on my computer and it was easy to install. The only downside of the game was that the second csi game: 3 dimensions of murder on case 2 is in French, when I specifically installed it in English. Apart from that there is no complaint :)
