Following the tense cliffhanger from season 8, this season of CSI: Miami kicks off with the second part in this feature length special where a member of the Miami Dade police force will lose their life.
Things get very personal for Horatio Caine when his wife’s murderer escapes from jail and quickly resumes his place at the top of the Miami underworld.
Meanwhile veteran CSI Natalia (Eva La Rue) is kidnapped, murder most horrid raises its head at a roller derby match and a fire hydrant washes away all the evidence at a nearby crime scene.
This is the ongoing story of the Miami Dade police department and their mission to control a city ablaze with crime, chaos and violence.

What an excellent season.Exciting varied stories with lots of action and all the actors have the chance to shine as their parts are more evenly shared. The last couple of seasons have been rather mediocre but this one makes up for it and what a cliffhanger at the end! The whole look of the series is different and very much improved.

Pity this is the penultimate

Great series as always.
Superb series as always but knowing the next series is the last i started to notice a darker side to "H" coming out in this series. Still brilliant as always.
